stiffest course

Recommended Posts

Re: stiffest course If you look at the 'standard times' for 6F, Kempton is 71.50 seconds and Lingfield is 70.60 seconds - in other words it would take the same horse 9/10th of a second longer to run 6F at kempton than at Lingfield. That suggests that Kempton is a stiffer test of stamina. But i don't think there's much in it I've been keeping some records of sire/damsire stamina figures for all weather meeting since June ( I know..........it's sad !......:lol )....and the 6F figures for Kempton and Lingfield are almost identical Southwell is 74.30 and Wolves is 73.00 - so they're both 'stiffer' than Lingfield and Kempton and this does show up in my winners stamina figures.
