2.55 Haydock Madison du Berlais - rejuvenated since cheekpieces were applied, acts at Newbury, a similar sort of track to this, and Kauto aside, looks to be running off a fair weight. Needs to bank on Kauto running below form but thought he was worth a punt a 10.5 earlier in the week. 3.25 Haydock Shining Gale was pulled out of the Paddypower Gold Cup at Cheltenham last weekend but this looks an easier assignment and he looks to have something in hand of the handicapper. Trainer Charlie Mann, in the build up to that race, was quoted as saying he wanted soft ground, so the fact conditions will be slow tomorrow for this engagement should not be a problem. He ran encouragingly on his reappearance at Ascot in a listed chase and is proven over this trip of three miles and may have more to offer of this mark. 4/1 Bet 365, 1.5 pt win.

Haydock~Sat 21st Nov 2.20 Cracking race. A win bet on on the 3rd horse in the Pertemps at Cheltenham in March PENNEK if fully wound up for this should go well in this for the King stable. A small win bet on ZACHAROVA on BF at 46 drifting like a barge but if it runs has a squeak back over hurdles after a quick departure over chases at Cheltenham last week. The e/w way bet in the race is the Pipe runner 33's PP GAR BUENA VISTA who wouldn't want it any further than this. Ran a cracker to be 2nd in the same race as Pennek at the festival meeting much to big a price IMO.
