4.20 Wolverhampton Jewelled has been a model of consistency all season and is long over due a win and runs off same mark when third behind miss sophisticat last time out and form has been stamped since with both 1st and 2nd going on to win again. Amy scott takes the ride with a useuful 7lb claim and a decent enough draw from stall 6 for first try at 7f. 0.25pt e/w jeweled 14/1 bet365 4.50 Wolverhampton Bell island beat jadalee last time out over 1f further at lingfield, admitly jadalee ran no sort of race last time out but is usually a good yard stick over this sort of trip. Has been raised only 2lb for that effort which looks light Sanders takes the ride again and is always good in what could pan out to be a tactical affair. 1pt win bell island 6.20 Wolverhampton Naseehah is likely to go off hot favourite and well worth opposing on back of winning a weak maiden over cd as an odds on shot. So I am gonna take Thunderball again who ran a blinder behind burgundy ice over a mile at kempton pulling well clear of third, and wasn’t disgraced last time out over a trip not the most suitable (not sure he see’s it out) is dropped back a furlong again today and is probably best of a bad bunch in this lost gets to run off same mark as last time out, but far from an ideal draw in widest stall. 0.5pt e/w thunderball

Re: Wolverhampton 12th Nov (AW) (Late Afternoon Card) 4.20 Wolverhampton Desert Falls has had valid excuses for a couple of poor placings of late and may reward backers tomorrow at a decent each-way price. Richard Whitaker's gelding was seemingly well fancied when running at Epsom last time out and attracted a bit of cash when sent off the 7/2 second favourite. However, he ruined his chances by pulling hard, and failed to beat a runner home in a seven runner field. Off the back of that run he is an outsider here, but if you can look beyond that last run then he looks to hold claims. He started the season on a mark of 87 which seems beyond him but he has slowly edged back down the handicap and was second off 77 at Beverley in August and is only 1 lb higher here. If you look solely at his all-weather form there is also reason to believe improvement can be expected on this surface - he won both of his first two starts on polytrack back when Great Leighs was in operation, and his fourth to Tishtar in a novices race at Kempton last October doesnt actually read that badly as he gave 7 lbs to subsequent handicap winner Bajan Tryst, who finished infront of him in third by a couple of lengths. Unexposed over this trip, he could plug on for a place perhaps. 14/1 Bet 365, 0.5 pt EW (3 places, 1/4 odds).
