Rip Van Winkle & Fame & Glory Stay In Training, is this a step forward??

Rip van winkle and fame and glory are to stay in training as 4 yr olds next year aswell as age of aquarius which is a huge surprise and is this a result of all the recent press surrounding Sea The Stars?? We certainly seem to have a few older types staying on for further seasons as Dar Ri Me has also been confirmed to stay in training and also looks as though midday and twice over are to stay in training aswell! Not sure of it is really a step forward to be honest. there are always a selection of very good 3 year olds that are kept in training. It just tends to be the VERY best ones that arn't, like STS. It would have been amazing to see STS race on next year, but alas, that was never going to happen... :(
