Just seen on a tweet (yes Im sad/young enough to use it!) that Won In The Dark is going to go for the WBX.COM Fighting Fifth Hurdle. Is he good enough to trouble the best British horses. Always thought he had a big race in him over hurdles but thought the race would probably be the Christmas Hurdle rather than the Fighting 5th.

Re: Won In The Dark His 3rd in the Triumph Hurdle behind Celstial Halo was a fair run and confirmed he possessed some ability. Spent all of last season running on ground that had too much cut. Prefers good ground, will act on slightly worse than good but only slightly. If it goes soft, then I would discount him from my picks for whatever race.
