Valuechecker football bets

Hi all, Pretty simple question really - has anybody ever followed the football "value" bets offered up on Valuechecker? It's generally accepted that finding value bets is the only reasonable way to draw some long term gain from simple 1x2 betting and the site finds them for you - does all the leg work as it were. Does anybody know how profitable they are in the long term, if at all? Hope this thread doesn't get culled for advertising or third party websites or some rubbish! :ok

Re: Valuechecker football bets Best thing to do would be to email them and ask if they have any past results .... i've checked numerous "good things" in the past ... most sites are willing to help ... and to be honest with you once you check they generally aren't as good as they appear.

In the meantime I've papertraded their value bets as shown on their website with a "value" of over 25%. So far with the odds available and their suggestions on standard £5 bets the results are as follows:

Re: Valuechecker football bets An interesting idea, Emired...... please keep up the paper trial for a few weeks to see how it progresses in the longer term. Of course, the big question is how does the site calculate the "statistical odds"?? By the way, I think you will find the profit so far is 31.05 GBP, not 81.05.... however, it still makes a yield of nearly 30% :loon The main disadvantage of following the published value bets is that you would probably need accounts with nearly all the mainstream bookies.... could be difficult to manage (especially for simpletons like me ;))
