BritPete Posted May 10, 2004 Share Posted May 10, 2004 Belle Vue v Poole +2 Stan James 1.9 Belle Vue have a very solid looking team this season, they have spent several year's being the basement team, but, that has all changed this year. Jason Crump is their top rider, and he, as usual is on great form, Joe Screen has revived his career this season, and with Kenneth Bjerre scoring heavily--plus two strong reserves,Belle Vue are going to think they can put one over on those pirate's tonight! Poole are a strong team, but may have to settle for second best tonight, Sullivan, who has taken Rickardsson's place, does not alway's show his best form on these small track's, but, no doubt he will be trying hard for his new club. Ex-Belle Vue rider Jason lyons will want to show BV what they are missing this year, though his overall form this year has been poor. Pedersen is in good form, but, Watt, Zetterstrom and Davidsson may struggle here. That leaves poole's sensational (at times!) reserve, the Brazilian born Antonio Lindback, if he ride's well tonight, he can have up to seven ride's! But, the opposition is tougher than usual here.
