1.15 Punchestown Just a quick scan of the irish card and interesting that mccoy is over there and looks to have a great chance for a winner in the first in Sweeps Hill having finished 2nd behind Dunguib in the grade 1 flat race at punchestown and continued that promise when 1st in a field of 19 rivals in a maiden hurdle. 2pt win sweeps hill

Re: Punchestown 28th Oct 1:15 a definite no bet for me but cannot wait to watch it. 2 of the potentially best Novice Hurdlers Ireland have to offer this season take one another on. Sweeps Hill comes into it with the slightly stronger form, but Some Present cannot be just written off. They both deserve a level of respect and should be a cracking contest. Officially Sweeps Hill is unbeaten after Dunguib's DSQ in the Irish Champion bumper, which also saw very useful horses like Luska Lad (impressive winner at Galway recently), Universal Truth, Sicilian Secret, Quadrillon and Golden Sunbird in behind. He also won his maiden bumper at the first time of asking, beating 7 rivals, all of whom had won on the previous outing. :loon His maiden hurdle victory recently was nothing to write home about, but he got the job done. Some Present's great moment came when 2nd in the Cheltenham bumper. Ran an absolute cracker behind Dunguib. Other potentially useful horses in behind included Quel Esprit, Rite of Passage, Pepe Simo (winner at Wincanton recently) and Shinrock Paddy, who could further boost the form by winning the 2:15 at this meeting. His bumper win was not great form, but there was a couple of subsequent lower grade hurdle winners in behind. His maiden hurdle race is slightly stronger than Sweeps Hill in that there seemed to be a better class of animal in the race and the well thought of Golden Sunbird was in behind. All in all, a very good race, and all it can really do more than anything, is further boost Dunguib's form. By the way, it is a 2 horse race in my opinion. The only way I would have a bet is if the money really came pouring in for the likely favourite Sweeps Hill and Some Present drifted, then he may become value.
