Crusaders 1.22 Stormers 4.00 Margin 12.5 Brumbies 1.22 Chiefs 4.00 Margin 12.5 Both games opened at 1.18/4.50 early in the week so some money has gone on the Stormers and Chiefs. Feel this is only “fan†money that the bookies are happy to take as any decent bets would have shifted the odds further. Personally I can’t see either home team losing and both games have potential to be large home wins. Crusaders v Brumbies The Crusaders will be without Marshall and Jack while the Stormers will miss Krige. Home side has made the semis 6 out of 9 years winning 4 times so have all the big match experience on their side. Stormers have travelled from South Africa (24hr trip) for the second time in two weeks so would expect them to struggle in the second half. The Crusaders seem to lack the “spark†of previous years, struggle in the outside backs on attack and rely too much on Carter who the Stormers will be aiming to shut down. Would give the Stormers more chance of winning than the Chiefs but expect the Crusaders to grind out the win so even the margin holds little appeal in this game. Brumbies v Chiefs The Brumbies should have too much class here and if they hit top gear the Chiefs could be on the end of a hiding. Chiefs lose Lauaki through injury but do welcome back Lowen and Kelleher (form NZ halfback of super 12). Brumbies at full strength. The Chiefs will need a good start, deny the Brumbies the ball and slow down any ball they do get to stay close IMO. Much as it hurts the betting option with most appeal this week is the Brumbies –12.5 point start @ 1.90. Would be interested in others comments on the semis. Good luck to all. Cheers CK

super 12 semis Hi First post, so don't expect too much!! Seems that Marshall has passed a late fitness test, but would agree that neither game offers much to work with other than 2 home wins. Margin on Brumbies seems to have moved to on average 15, all the talk here seems to be of the Brumbies wanting to spread the ball wide. No value in -15 for me. Bet 365 have the spread at U-57 and O-58 and for a semi final that may be a bit too high. Will have a small punt on the under. Crusaders struggling to find their full fluency but should be too strong for the Stormers, not by much though. Got to be a home team double and a small bet on the Brumbies total under 57 for an interest. Best of luck to everyone. Cheers Gaz
