3.55 Uttoxeter Shortlist: Ballinruane - sole win came here in novices handicap chase last season off 13 lbs lower. Not best handicapped horse ever but has been sneaking into the frame of late so at least arrives in some sort of form. Classic Clover - turned out under a 7 lb penalty as a result of easy win in small field at Wincanton last time out. Dour stayer that may want slightly further, and all wins come at Wincanton but is in form at least. Carnt Spell - 5 lbs lower than when winning at Huntingdon in 2007. Hasnt won since, little racing last year, done little this year but stayed on and at least completed last time after PU prior to that. Silver Dagger - 19 lbs lower than last win (2006), CD winner and has been staying in into places, but regressing. Hever Road - 43 lbs lower than win in 2007 but failed to see out race at Towcester last time out. May prefer more galloping track. Major Belle - 17 lbs lower than last win but another that hasnt won for years. PU at Fontwell, latest. Ballinruane 6/1 Betfred, 0.8 pt win Classic Clover 4/1 Boyle, 0.2 pt (saver)
