5.45 Kempton Fantasy ride is bdly drawn here in stall 1 but has been showing some promise again on aw when finishing 4th last time out at wolverhampton and is now 9lb lower in handicap than last win at wolverhampton back in last January but is clearly in good heart again. 0.5pt e/w fantasy ride 7.20 Kempton Highlight of the card a interesting handicap with many in form sorts and many with great all weather form. Burgundy ice is a real threat if taking to aw surface. Laudatory was seen to poor effect last time out on turf but had been running much more impressively on aw and could be well handicapped on this scene and isn’t drawn to bad! Audemar ran on extremely well last time out and could go well again under a 6lb penalty, block party was seen running on strongly behind audemar but the winner had already won and does get a 2lb pull on the weights and if not letting him slip may just be a bit closer today. 0.25pt e/w laudatory 10/1 bet365 0.25pt e/w block party 6/1 bet365 0.5pt e/w Audemar 9/2 bet365 8.50 Kempton Leverage is clearly the one to beat only having had 3 starts and was a fantastic 2nd on handicap debut a week ago on turf, takes a step up to 7f and first try at all weather so got that to prove but looks a classy sort in the making. 1pt win leverage (or 0.5pt e/w if price is able) 9.20 Kempton Best one is worth giving another chance to after pulling so hard and never settling the other night at a try over 7f dropped back to 6f tonight and certainly looks to need the sprint trip and is still well handicapped on previous form winning off a mark as high as 70! 0.25pt e/w best one

Re: Kempton 14th Oct (AW) (eve) 7.20 Kempton Thunderball looks overpriced here and can go well for Cambridgeshire-supremo Jeremy Glover. This class 4 handicap may not be quite as valuable as the four Newmarket prizes he has added to his trophy cabinet over the years, but his Haafhd gelding is well drawn to attack here over a mile and could take some pegging back, with Godolphin's Burgundy Ice just as happy to come from off the pace as he is to make it. Thunderball showed some decent juvenile form last season when in the care of Alan McCabe. A third in a Newcastle nursery behind Lahaleeb (subsequent Group winner) reads well and it was on polytrack that he broke his maiden thereafter, romping home at Great Leighs by three and a quarter lengths. After an end of season lull he returned in 2009 in decent enough heart, finishing in and around the likes of Suruor, Changing The Guard and Tartan Gunna in turf handicaps off marks around 77-79. That form reads well given the progressive nature of those rivals and even as recently as June, on his penultimate start, he has been running credibly, chasing home the well regarded Captain Brilliance (thought of as a Group horse by his trainer jermey Noseda) before a lack of match fitness and a car park draw proved his undoing at Pontefract earlier this month. He certainly has the ability to win a race at this level and his mark of 79 should not be prohibitive to his chances, especially since Fredi Tylicki takes off 3 lbs and gives him a super chance at a big price. 20/1 Bet 365, 2.5 pts EW (3 places, 1/4 odds).
