PERFECT Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Re: advice on doubles please Hi dann, if you bet laying in average at 4.00 you have 0.8 x 0:8 = 0.64 = 64% of winning double bets 13 times out of 100 will be 2 consecutive loosing bets, sometimes the strike rate could decrease even under 50%, with your example of 5 doubles if there are 3 loosing doubles you have 3 - (0.65 x 2) = -1.7 units, considerind layng 2 matches at 4.5. If your stake/unit is 10% of the bank you loose 17% of it in that case, staking 5% only 8.5% of it. Looking at the numbers an unlucky trand could be 4 wins and 6 lost out of 10 doubles, a 40% strike rate, you would loose 340% of you stake.
