Basically just looking for value in first goalscorers and backing them each way (1/3 odds for the first five goals) Start bank £1000 Bet 1. Everton have put out a team that is attack minded and look like they mean business. Yakubu has looked sharp since he returned and is generally more of a threat than Jo (famous last words). Out of the 5 winners, 4 have been first goalscorers and only 1 has been a placed winner. I'm enjoying this so will keep it going - wish me luck. Before starting this glory hunt, I expected there to be around a 50% strike rate of anytime goalscorers, and therefore the first scorers were a luxury, not the norm! Results from today = bet 14.
