Men's Long Jump Dwight Phillips has recorded the best 6 jumps (8.60, 8.44, 8.43, 8.37, 8.36, 8.35) in the world this year, and there is no reason why he won't take gold here. No other jumper has exceeded 8.30 on more than one occaion. Odds of 4/9 look a steal.

Re: Olympic Athletics Men's 110m Hurdles This looks like being a straight fight betwee Allen Johnson and my selection Xiang Liu. I cannot split the pair, so a bet on the Chinese hurdler looks the best way to go, at around 2/1.
