3.30 Ripon Wingplay won impressively by 4 1/2 lengths last time out and finished 2nd to falcon rock before that, is stepped up in class today and has to carry 6lb more but doesnt look to harsh, has a brilliant draw in stall 13 0.5pt e/w wingplay 6/1 bet365 bog 5.00 ripon Mystified has been running extremely well but struggling to get in front, having come second in all starts since winning a seller in june, was disappointing last time out when just didnt seem to travel well, but having said that form from that race working out well with 2 horses behind him winning next time out off 2lb lower marks. He is dropped a 1lb today and kyne back on board claiming 5lb! 0.5pt e/w mystified

Re: Ripon 1st Sept 3.30 Ripon Granston - The best handicap on the card here and James Bethell's Granston could gain compensation for a near miss at Beverley last time out. He was involved in a real ding-dong battle with Bazergan to the line and although raised 3 lbs in the weights for that effort, is evidently in good nick. He's 5 lbs higher than when winning over course and distance earlier in the season but with Robert Winston (partner for each of last two wins) on board he is my selection. 10/1 Hills, 5 pt EW (3 places, 1/4 odds).
