The fickleness of poker ...

Looked at my total when i was -$300 for the session, thought about quitting if i got back to -$200 then out of nowhere bang bang bang bang KK v AK, AA v openender (the same reg spewing), AK nut flush vs 1 pair then KK v bottom pair vs the same fish. recoveryn.jpg Was playing really terribly and too loose for the first 1k hands thought about quitting for the day, thought WTF am i doing spewing off all over the place so tightened up then made $400 in 300 hands. Terrible day turned ok and probably undeserved shows the fickleness of poker, play terrible then get a bit of run good and in a couple of weeks i'll forget all about this session apart from seeing a green bar for the profitable session in HEM :lol

Re: The fickleness of poker ... Nice turnaround :ok (and impressive "down-slope" in the 1st 1000 hands :lol) A bit like my NL50 Heads Up graph, nearly 10 buy-ins down to 11 buy-ins up, albeit over more hands. But if a couple of flips that I won had gone the other way then I probably would be thinking about going back to 6-max. (The date filter on HEM is because I can't find an option for HU play, and all of my HU play came after this date). untitled3.jpg
