3.15 wolverhampton Mutamared was super impressive on all weather during the winter mainly in claimers at lingfield, has since been slightly disappointing on turf until last time out in a claimer at ayr, is running off same mark when last winning a handicap on the all weather. Callan taking the ride and does need to overcome bad draw 0.25pt e/w mutamared

Re: Wolverhampton 17th Aug (AW) 3.15 Wolverhampton Prescription looks a worthy favourite here but has flopped when sent off at odds on before so I'm taking him on with plenty of the remainder backable each-way. Baby Strange has valid excuses for plenty of his recent defeats and he has slipped back down to a winning mark of 90, off which he was successful at Newcastle earlier in the season. He does need to prove he acts on the polytrack though, so for that reason I'm also backing Hurricane Spirit. The latter hails from the Jim Best yard and is prolific on artificial surfaces with four wins from six starts. He's been campaigned on turf for the last few years and disappointed in the main, but the return to the AW could spark a revival. Both horses should get the race run to suit.
