8.15 Epsom Rosy Dawn has only won 2 races in a 41-race career, but came ever so close to landing her first handicap at Folkestone last time out when getting outpaced towards the end. Although she is raised 2 lbs in the handicap she should appreciate this step back up in trip as she has placed form over one and a half miles previously. There is reason to believe she could get her own way infront and at the price I feel John Bridger's filly is worth chancing. 12/1 Bet 365, EW.

Re: Epsom (eve) 23/7/09 Epsom 20.45 Twilight Star looks well treated in this being rated 1lb less than when running 2nd LTO, although beaten by 8l all his best work came 2 furlongs from home so I think the drop back to 7f can help his cause. Won off 78 before now with a bit of cut in the ground and the booking of R Hughes in the saddle looks a big positive the form hes in at the moment.:ok Available 13/2 stan james Epsom 20.15 Trachonitis looks a good e/w bet for me in this, formally with Jim Bolgers yard hes on the lowest mark for his current yard since running a 2nd at Southwell 18 months ago over 11f. Trip shouldnt be a problem hes won around this trip and has form in Ireland with a bit of cut in the ground.
