NRL Round 19

Recommended Posts

Brisbane -6 EVENS ladbrokes The history: Played 21; Broncos 17, Rabbitohs 3, drawn 1 The Rabbitohs certainly did show a little more ticker against the Panthers last week but the Penrith side was severely under-strength so if they have false confidence they will be shot down quickly. The Broncos managed to get to a result against the Warriors in their last game before the bye but their form hasn’t been great either. However they do look much stronger than the Bunnies, particularly if their rep players get through Origin III relatively unscathed. Stick with the home team.

Re: NRL Round 19 Brisbane win by 1-12 margin (2.75 @ centrebet) Brisbane were not in the best of form before the bye while Souths come off a good win over Penrith but then again, the Panthers were depleted. Some of the Broncos are backing up after the Origin game, and with some feeling maybe carrying over from that game, as the players will not want to lose twice in front of their own crowd. The Broncos have a very good record over the Rabbitohs as they have won 7 of the past 8 games between the clubs and have a 6-1 record over them at Suncorp. Brisbane to win but not to win by much as Lockyer is out which takes away quite a bit of their organisation. Bulldogs win by 1-12 margin (2.75 @ centrebet) Both teams should be at full stength for this big game for both teams as they are equal second on the ladder. A big concern for the Titans is that they have a 4 day break to back up from their win over Parramatta on Friday night while the Bulldogs have had an extra day off. With the likes of Kimmorley and Ennis having big games against Queensland on Wednesday night, look for some of that to continue tonight as the Bulldogs have been consistently well all year. The Titans have also played well this year but you get the feeling that one day extra rest could be the difference in the latter part of the game.

Re: NRL Round 19 Titans 1-12 @ 3.90 Sportingbet Bulldogs on an away trip to QLD after a game last week in New Zealand. They have 3 players backing up from Origin whereas the Titans have just one. Titan's will have the home advantage and are playing good footy. They are a big chance to win but given the two teams involved the margin is sure to be small, so strong value in this option.

Re: NRL Round 19 Canberra -6.5 (pick your own line) (3.00 @ centrebet) Penrith have still got quite a few injuries especially in their forwards and this is where the Raiders can get the edge over them. Their own set of forwards should be at full strength and look for them to get some good yardage on a Penrith side that does tend to struggle getting the back with quick play the balls. Campese should then have the platform to make some backline plays for the Raiders to go and win this. Penrith were poor against Souths last start and even with some players back, it won't be enough to beat Canberra here if they are to make the semi finals Manly to win by 13+ margin (2.75 @ centrebet) Cronulla's season is gone and they are only playing for pride but they meet a Manly side looking to cement their position in the top 8. One player sure to have a big game is Watnough as he was very good in the Origin game and has been all year, been able to break the line. His damaging runs should give the Sea Eagles good field position to hit the try line, while their defence should be able to cope with what the Sharks try to hand out as without Gallen they tend to struggle. Manly should be too good for them

Re: NRL Round 19 Melbourne win by 13+ margin (3.25 @ sportingbet) spot and know they can't afford a slip up here. Their Origin players should be rested and ready to go against an inconsistent Parramatta side that has underachieved all year. Like the look of Finch to get one over his old team mates and Inglis will be very hard to stop out wide. The Eels only have Hindmarsh who continues to put in while the Storm will have the likes of White, Hoffman and Johnson battering the line allowing Inglis and Slater to slice through the defence. With Melbourne having won 6 of the last 8 games, like them to make it another victory by a good margin
