Predict the 2009/10 Premier League Table

Recommended Posts

Back again, same rules as last year ..... The idea is to predict the finishing positions of all 20 Premier League clubs in the forthcoming season. Scoring is as follows :- each correct position scores 0 one place out scores 1 (1x1) two places out scores 4 (2x2) three places out scores 9 (3x3) and so on for all places, so ten places out scores 100, and an unlikely nineteen places out would score 361. All 20 predicted v actual places are counted and (hopefully obviously) it is the lowest total score that wins and I'll put up a winner takes all prize of £25 (prize only open to existing members as of today with 150 posts to their name). I'll post a league table every few weeks. To create a tiebreaker in case it is needed please also nominate one team to finish top of each of the other English leagues (Championship, Div 1, Div 2) to which the same scoring system will apply. Note, one team only from the other leagues to be nominated but only used in the event of a tie in the main competition. In case you need the list, in alphabetical order ...... Arsenal Aston Villa Birmingham Blackburn Bolton Burnley Chelsea Everton Fulham Hull Liverpool Man City Man Utd Portsmouth Stoke Sunderland Tottenham West Ham Wigan Wolves Plenty of time - Deadline is 9.00am on Saturday 15th August Good Luck All :ok
