7.40 Southwell Coconut shy seems to like softer ground which would suggest southwells surface could suit, ran in some very classy events last year (Group and listed) and takes an unusual drop into claimer company which would be a slight concern but this is her reappearance and maybe is being put in to get her confidence back up, certainly watch the market for this one 0.5pt e/w coconut shy 9.10 Southwell Imprimis tagula has fantastic form here at southwell 9 runs with 6 wins mainly in claimers but has also done well in handicaps round here, newnes taking the ride again and claims an extremely useful 5lb 0.5pt e/w imprimis tagula (8/1 BOG)

Re: Southwell 14th July (eve) 9.20 Southwell Hits Only Jude is well drawn here and has a good record on fibresand, including a win off 68 last year in which he made all to score, and he is rated only 4 lbs higher here. He moved on from Paul Blockley to Declan Carroll for this season and returned from a twelve month lay off to finish second to Imprimis Tagula in a claimer. They re-oppose on idential terms here and although Hits Only Jude has 1.75 lengths to find, that isn't a great deal and the disparity in their prices today is large. Last time out Hits Only Jude disappointed at York but he never got into his favoured racing position and I'm willing to draw a line through that run. 16/1 Bet 365, EW.
