BAM
Re: Live Poker in Glasgow I liked the Alea :) The structure was a bit of a turbo but that should suit your style Ed, £20 IIRC I've been to the Cincinnati a couple of times and found it a bit dodgy especially when they change the rules halfway through the comp to suit a regular player who wants another rebuy :eyes. It's also the kind of place where you feel uncomfortable walking out with any winnings, unless you have a fast car waiting outside, revving the engine, with the doors open. If I was in Glasgow again I'd go to Edinburgh for a game :ok You going to the mainland to pick up supplies for the coming winter Ed?
glceud
Re: Live Poker in Glasgow Cheers guys The structure was a bit of a turbo but that should suit your style Ed, £20 IIRC You going to the mainland to pick up supplies for the coming winter Ed? Find it vey hard to replicate my V-roll game live, so I'm not so sure about the turbo, £20 sounds about my buy in though. Any Idea on times + a rebuy I guess?. Going to the Paddys Market in Glasgow to sell my turnip crop, its been a bumper year so I should be quids in:hope

glceud
Re: Live Poker in Glasgow Ended up in the Alea on Sat night(too late for poker) and Sunday for a £30 NLH pyramid structure tourney(£63 total). Thought the card room was well run and the staff in all areas were excellent(probably because none of them were glaswegians) plus its a pretty new casino so nice and clean inside. 32 players created an £1820 pool with three places paid though a final table deal was done with 5 left. Hope thats of use to any one who googles "live poker in Glasgow";)
