i have made a healthy profit by backing horses by the sire RED RANSOM in 3yo handicaps its progeny tend to improve dramatically from 2 to 3

thanks Spenfica, i only lay these horses in 3yo+ handicaps. I dont tend to follow sires to that extent :ok

managed to catch a winner out of those 2!! The rest of thursdays results 5.00 Nott apart from the one listed above, 2/1, 6/1 & 10/1 all beaten 7.30 Epsom 11/2, 40/1, 10/1, 5/2, 7/1, 25/1 all beaten in a 9 runner race 7.15 Muss 9/4 f beaten 12 ran altogether & only 1 winner which i managed to lay!! Round up to come of Friday, Sat & Sun. Intend to tot all the races up in the next few days!!

Re: Bowles' 3yo handicap system In the period there were 322 horses qualifying 293 horses were succesfully beaten 29 horses won 9% of 3yo's running in 3yo+ handicaps won Total odds of the winners at SP were 162.15 to 1pt unit You can argue that laying these on Betfair perhaps would be much higher liability i.e our biggest loser 20/1 was in the last race tonight which no doubt traded higher! Notably only 4 winners above 10/1 in 322 bets, perhaps this is the best strategy although higher risk with some big numbers involved? Interesting trial nonetheless:ok
