Re: Rugby League: Super League XIV Round 18, Co-op & NRC Final Backing St Helens TP's 46+ @ 5/6. Celtic still have VIP's missing and the dry track conditions ideal for a free-flowing Saints. The 9/4 about Salford tempted, but the fuss about Myler has really hit the club hard in certain departments. Can only guess how this affects the on field performance. Still looking at others. GL all.

The 9/4 about Salford tempted' date=' but the fuss about Myler has really hit the club hard in certain departments. Can only guess how this affects the on field performance.[/quote'] The +8 nearly got me as well but waited to see if Myler made it or not. He hasn't so I haven't :lol. Had a small bet on the Unders though. 46.5 was the line on Betfair but the price wasn't particularly great (1.6 after commission :\). Myler's absence is a blow to Salford's attacking prowess and neither side strike me as really big scorers. 4 of Salford's 6 at home have been under this line and 12 of Hudds' 17 have gone under as well. I'll take a chance on it being under again tonight. Bit of poor weather just South of Salford as well so hopefully that can make it's way North :hope. Salford v Huddersfield Under 46.5 Total Points @ 1.6 (Betfair) 1/5 GL all :hope :ok

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIV Round 18, Co-op & NRC Final 2PTS - Hudds -6 to bt Salford @ Blue Square 10/11 1PTS - Earl Crabtree 1st Tryscorer - 33/1 Skybet Like you Lee i was waiting for team news and the news that Myler hasnt made it has made Hudds a good bet for me tonight. Salford have got to grips with super league in recent weeks after a slow start and much of that has been down to Myler. He is a fine support player and if salford do make any breaks i cant think of many other good support players in the Reds side. Cant see a lot of points in the Salford team now and factor that into Hudds decent defence i can also see this being low scoring. I like Huddersfield again they are starting to show their early season form where they were playing a good expansive game (Except last Friday ;) ). Brett Hodgson is massive for them and he should be back up to speed again by now and will look to control things.Missing Paul Whatuira tonight so i understand Stephen Wild will play centre but he is solid in defence so i forsee no problems there. Another factor for me is that The giants have some ex Salford players in the ranks and although they left on good terms will want big games. Big Earl start tonight at Loose Forward so lets have a go with him for 1st tryscorer.

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIV Round 18, Co-op & NRC Final 3PTS Castleford -2 to bt Catalans @ William Hill 4/5 Two of the more inconsistent teams meeting here so possibly not wise to get involved but i strongly fancy Cas giving up two here. The Tigers have been on a poor run of late but bucked the trend with a gritty win at Huddersfield last week so they should have a bit of confidence going into this. I think Cas have struggled to adapt to losing Brent Sherwin but finally Rangi Chase is steppin up and playing some good rugby. They are also still missing Ryan Hudson And James Evans misses out also, however some good news is Chris Feather could return and boost the pack. Which Dragons will turn up tonight ?? If it's the good dragons then cas might struggle to contain them but all to often it has been the poor dragons that have showed up especially in away games. They will be missing Greg Bird due to legal reasons and also Jamal Fakir is suspended. Dimitri Pelo could return and he is a very good finisher. The teams met earlier in the season in France with Castleford winning 24-22. Im hoping the bad french outfit turn up tonight and concede a few and that the Tigers can build on last weeks win at the Galpharm.

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIV Round 18, Co-op & NRC Final One for me tonight Hull KR (-4) to beat Wigan @ Evs (bet365 yesterday – 10/11 still available elsewhere) 3/5

I’m going to give Hull KR another chance this week. They got back to winning ways v Celtic last week in a 32-18 away victory but prior to that, were in a touch of poor form losing to Harlequins and Huddersfield. Bar the trouncing last time out at home to Quins – when internationals Briscoe and Fox were absent – their remaining home defeats have been to Cas, Hudds and Leeds all of which have had at least 6 away wins this season. They’ll be without Stanley Gene and Liam Colbon this evening to injury, while Makali Aizue is left out but Daniel Fitzhenry returns.

Wigan are a bit of a bogey team for me but off-the-field worries – Hock’s suspension for cocaine use, uncertainty over Brian Noble’s future – lead me to take them on this evening. They’ve been behind the handicapper in their last 2 away games at Warrington and Celtic (where they also suffered the embarrassment of a 16-22 defeat) and I just feel although they have the squad on paper – O’Loughlin, Smith, Richards etc. – that surely the mess off-field should affect their on-field performances.

GL all :hope :ok

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIV Round 18, Co-op & NRC Final Good work again this week lads. One for me today. 3pts Wakefield (-2) to beat Harlequins 8/11 Stan James Neither of these sides have been in brilliant form in recent weeks although Quins have had the odd eye catching result. However they go to Belle Vue with some key injuries to players like Luke Dorn and skipper Rob Purdham. Wakefield welcome back Ryan Atkins from England duty while the influential Jason Demetriou is also back for this game. While Quins were getting a job done on them by Leeds last weekend, Wakefield had their feet up so should be ready to go today. Belle Vue is never an easy place to go to and I think Quins could be found out a bit today. With Danny Brough in good recent form I think Wakey can cover the 2pt start here.

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIV Round 18, Co-op & NRC Final Workington Town with 20 start courtesy of Stanjames looks a good bet. Town have been very poor but put in a much improved performance against Swinton in their last game. They've recruited 1 or 2 and have basically got shot of their dead wood in an attempt to save cash. I reckon the game at Blackpool will be a close affair. I'm going to double them up with Skolars who get 42 start. Dewsbury have been awesome but according to their message board their coach is looking to rest a few. Skolars who have just lost their coach and its beleived this is down their partnership with Harlequinns. Not sure how many Quinns players they have loaned out to Skolars but if its a few then it should strengthen their side.

Re: Rugby League: Super League XIV Round 18, Co-op & NRC Final Rovers as well for me tonight 3Pts Hull KR -4 To bt Wigan @ Paddy Power 10/11 Rovers have been pretty dire in recent weeks, but last weeks game against Crusaders could not of come at a better time for them to gain some confidence. They duly won 32-18 and should have a little confidence back. I guess another team you might want to face at the moment is Wigan who from the outside appear in disaray. Rovers are looking pretty strong on paper with my only worry being Cockayne coming in on the wing for Liam Colbon. I like Cooke (:puke) and Dobson as a pairing in the halves and if they can set the backline free Rovers could score a few. Wigan have underachieved massively this season and this week has just being another shocker for them with Gareth Hock and also Whether Nobby will be leaving or not. Team news isnt great for them either with Martin Gleeson not named in the Squad. Im not a fan of the Forwards either and i think KR with Vella back in the team could get on top of them and create a platform for Cooke and Dobson. KR already won at the JJB earlier this season, my only worry with taking on Wigan on the Handicap is Pat Richards usually makes the 4s into 6s with his consitent kicking. Looking forward to it and KR To nick it
