She top scored in the world cup out in Australia and she was only 1 run away from top scoring in the world twenty20 last week. She top scored for England in both semi final and final batting on both occasions with ease and solidity. She's very experienced and knows when to take risks and when not to and batting at 3 she has an ideal opportunity to top score. England's openers, Sarah Taylor and captain Charlotte Edwards are fearless with the bat but they can both get carried away and play loose shots. You're not going to get that with Claire Taylor and if she gets in I think she's decent enough value to top score here as it's like backing Kevin Pietersen in the men's team only Taylor does it for England even more consistently than KP.
