JEER 3.10 Pontefract. 0.5 points each way. Not really firing on all cylinders, but does have the form to go close today and did show slightly better last time. Races off a mark of 74 which suggests he can win this, and also acts on fastish ground. Dale Gibson can get the home when he really needs to and is a form buff himself, so I'm sure he's done his homework and knows if riding the perfect race he can win this. The price at around 14/1 makes the bet for me.

Re: Pontefract ~ Sunday 21st June Workings. Phew...........what a relief to get back to 'normal' racing........:lol 3.40 - Drumfire Listed race down to 6 runners. Drumfire ran a cracker in the Brigadier Gerard at Sandown, looking as though a step up in trip might suit him. He was beaten less than 2 lengths by Cima de Triomphe and Conduit and they're a pair of genuine group one horses. If he can reproduce that run he should take all the beating here. Main doubt is that he doesn't win very often but he has won a group 3 in his time
