This is a relatively simple glory hunt, with very simple rules. The Theory Laying 25/1 shots can be a lot more difficult than it looks, but with each winning bet returning a 4% profit based on going all in, if the correct 25/1 shots are selected, the profit can rack up quite quickly. On average, there are 18 horse races a day, and laying 1 25/1 shot in each race would result in the bank doubling for the day. With this in mind, after 1 successful attempt, the money I would be playing with would essentially be "free money" The Aim As mentioned above, the aim is to double the start bank each day. If the start bank is doubled, the Glory hunt stops for the day. The Start bank will be £100, so 1 successful day will see a cool £100 profit landed. The ultimate aim is to make around £1000 per month from this, which would require 20 successful days in the month, and only 10 losing days. Is this achievable - we will see. NOTE: Not all lays will be 25/1 - This is just a guide. Start bank and Banking If the first attempt is successful, the £100 profit will be banked so that if I have a losing day, no losses will have been incurred. I am quite confident I will not have 2 losing days in a row, so I have deposited £200 into Betfair for this, giving me 2 attempts. When I am playing with free money, I will probably be slightly more aggressive that I would be otherwise, so if the first few attempts are successful, I will consider starting with more than £100. Issues Maiden races are an issue, and if possible, will be avoided unless there is a certain lay. With Royal Ascot upcoming, it may be into next week before this really gets going, but that will depend on what like the racing is away from Ascot. Conclusion Start Bank: £100 (£100 in reserve) Aim: To double the bank each day Method: Laying 18 horses in 18 races around 25/1 to achieve 4 % profit per bet and double the bank. :hope Here goes. 1st attempt will be today.
