William Hill Side Games Freerolls - $1500 and $5000

Given how low entry some of the recent WH freeroll promos have been, this could be worth it. Staking $50 (text says $25 for the monthly one, but the advertising blurb says $50) on Roulette will give you an ev return of 36/37 I think (I presume there's only one zero?) - 97.3% - so the cost of entering the freeroll will on average be $50 x (1-0.973) = $1.35. Are there cheaper games to make the money? Currently 119 in the weekly one this Friday and 2 in the monthly one. Dont spose anyone spotted how many runners in last weeks weekly?

Re: William Hill Side Games Freerolls - $1500 and $5000 ahhh this is handy. Have just had to deposit for the Super Serires tonight, the minimum is £10, so I deposited £10, reged for the tourney then decided to go on the Roulette wth the remaining £8.... after around 4 spins I was up to £45 so decided to cash it in. I'm sure I must have staked around £50 altogether so hopefully that will get me into those tourneys! Thanks GaF :ok

Re: William Hill Side Games Freerolls - $1500 and $5000 Think the entry to these is quite high. I was in a weekly and monthly one last month and I think the weekly had about 250 and the monthly just over 1000. I looked the week after and the weekly one had quite a bit more. I'll check my account for exact numbers....

Re: William Hill Side Games Freerolls - $1500 and $5000 Thanks for that Cramer :ok SO the monthly is worth about a $13 buy in and should cost an average of $1.35 to get into - I might give it a go :) (The $1.35 will also get you into 2xweeklies, worth about $10 each - so $1.35 will buy you about $33 in entries :))

Think the safest way is to shove £11 onto the casino side (transfer it from your poker account) and play roullette 5 times. You play £5 red £5 black and 20p on zero. If 0 doesn't come up then you lose £1, if zero comes up once then you gain £1,20 (assuming its British roulette with one zero and half the money back if zero comes up for even bets). Hope my maths is right :hope. Think I'll give this a go. :ok

Re: William Hill Side Games Freerolls - $1500 and $5000 The minimum stake on any single bet is 50p Phil, so couldn't do 20p on 0 With that in mind I decided with the probability on my side I'd just do £5 red £5 black, first spin.... 16, second spin.... yup - ZERO!! So I've staked my $25 for the week, but I'm the clever soul who it has actually cost £10 to do so :lol :wall
