Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Huge dropping odds on Moss - Skeid. :dude The reason for that are injuries and exams for the home team players :eek Moss asked (as Haugesund did last week) to postpone the game tomorrow, but that was not accepted from the Norwegian football federation. So the game will be played normally tomorrow. Keep in your mind that Moss FK is facing huge economical problems and for that reason has played some very strange games, as the one agains Alta at home .... :unsure:hope

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Alta - Sarpsborg 08 The homeside has done surprisingly well so far this season too many experts surprise, especially since they were pretty much doomed by all before the season started. Stat-wise 3-1-5 is not the worst, and the last four has gone 2-1-1. The clear observation is that they have improved a lot lately. Coach Bjørkan seems to have gotten some of last season main errors out of the crew. Earlier they tended to make stupid mistakes and that again had a major effect on results. In these days, they play evens with every team and has proven to be a tough opponent to face. They will however be weakened in knowing that key midfielder Aziz Idris is suspended for this one. Sarpsborg come from a tough battle on thursday in the cup, versus a hard-fighting 2nd division team Eidsvold Turn. A match they should have won, but was not able to keep the 2-1 lead and, instead lost in extra-time (2-3). There is no doubt that the match should have taken its toll on many of their players, both physical and mentally. In the league, they have some form of late, going 3-0-3 the last six. However all wins has come on their own ground and they have struggled when visiting (0-1-3). That being said, they have faced some tough competition in those away matches. Looking at Hønefoss, LøvHam and HamKam as three of them. In their last league match they easliy took down a very poor Stavanger side in a match they should have won anyways, knowing that against the poorer teams points need to be salvaged in order to keep their ambitions for this season in hold, to stay alive and be a regular team at this level. The latest news is that the visitors travelled the long way north with a depleted squad. Rumours said that they even tried to get the game postpones (as the trend has been of late in the league) because of all the injuries. Hoås, Jusufi, Hagen, Smatana, Røn, Fredriksen and Solheim are all out today. A decent homeside, even without their playmaker should win this. Prediction: Alta -0.25 (Value is 1.90+) 5/10

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Tromsdalen - Hønefoss The "little brother" of Tromsø, is struggling at the moment. Tromsdalen need to regroup after two terrible matches of late. At first they lost to lowly Strindheim in the cup (2-3 at home), then to Sogndal (0-3 away) in a game where they in reality stood no chance winning. At their own turf, they are feared, going 3-1-0 so far. That being said, none of the big guns so far have been on the visitations side. Their artificial grass is not liked by many, and the cold conditions up north is not favorable either. After having major troubles with injuries the latest weeks, reports now said that most guys are returned and ready for action. Especially they welcome back key midfielder Morten Giæver and first goalie Eirik Sørensen who both were severly doubtful earlier. The visitors this time got themself an extra break because of Haugesunds major squad worries, and the match was postponed. Inclined to be the team that can be at top level or the worst in the same match anything may happen when they enter the pitch. Stat-wise 3-3-2 confirms it by far, and their away actions (1-2-1) does not make it any better looking. That being said, they are a powerful outfit when it comes to quality in their first eleven, their main problem being getting the right consistency, and stability throughout their squad. They will miss key midfielder Dimitrijev on sunday because og three yellows. He is hard to replace, but by putting David Hanssen in the middle they could fill in his position pretty well. The long travel up north, Tromsdalens feared home groun, and a rejuvenated squad makes me gunning for the homeside in this one. Hønefoss could do good, but they have been far too inconsistent for me to trust them in any matter. They are in for a tough one knowing that the homeside relies on getting their main score of points at home, and the loss of key midfielder Dimitrijev can be crucial especially when Tromsdalen just got that area of the field covered with key players returning and very eager to play footy again. Prediction: Tromsdalen +0 (Value is 2.00+) 4/10

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Moss - Skeid The homeside has struggled heavily of late. Feeiling the major hit of injuries and other absentees they applied the Associastion for this one being postponed in the same matter as Haugesund last week. In their cup-match versus Nest Sotra on thursday they had to use juniors knowing that they only had 10 first team players avaliable. They lost the match 1-2, but gave a decent battle and worked as hard as they could. Their form in the league, going 1-1-1 the last three, does not incline that they have these sort of problems, and the 3-3 draw versus Bryne in their last one was not bad at all. That being said Bryne had major defensive woes coming into that one. The exiting issue concerning Moss this weekend is to see if their severely depleted sqaud can rise to the occasion and get a decent result when a struggling Skeid is on the other side of the pitch. The newly promoters, Skeid has dropped to the bottom after a decent start of the campaign. Loosing six in a row confirms that they will have major issues staying alive this season. However, they have picked up some form and has been somewhat unlucky in their last two. Coach Arild Stavrum has an important job keeping his guys up, morale-wise, and letting his men believe that there still is a lot of points to be fetched during the remainding rounds of the season. Squad-wise they have a positive situation when key players have returned from injury. For this one, the odds have been heavily slashed after the important info from the struggling Moss side. For many its a question of value that is left to consider. The facts say that Skeid is the poorest team in the division at the moment, and both teams, should know that they have an excellent opportunity getting some much needed points when looking at the status these days. This one will be a close one in my opinion, but Skeid has the percentage in their favour. The injuries, restitution and morale in the homeside being the negative issues for the homeside. Prediction: Skeid +0.75 (Value is 1.83+) 4/10

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Kongsvinger - Notodden After a brilliant start of the campaign the homeside has now lost two in a row. Coach Tom Nordlie has a challenge rallying his men since the reason for the drop in form comes without any obvious answers. They have no big injury worries and they play good footy, still they seem to loose. Well, that is not completely true, they lost key centre half Steinar Strømnæs to injury a week ago, and when looking in context with their sudden drop of form, that may be a underlaying reason for it all. One factor could be that they earlier even if going with 5 straight wins, played tight matches, but then was able to clinch it. In the last matches it has gone the oppsite way. Reports from their last one (0-3 versus Nybergsund) they played well and created chances, but the defensive part was not good at all. There is high expectations among their fans wanting the team to turn things around. There is no doubt that Nordlies team will be top five this season, but are the expectations too high atm? Notodden on the other hand has not been able to follow up their good last season. They kept most of their players, and there is a lot of quality surronding the squad, but they havent managed to play together as they ought to do. Form-wise, they have joined in with the other teams thinking about trends, winning at home, loosing when visiting. In total their stat is 4-1-4 (3-1-0 at home & 1-0-3 away), which inclines that they are up for a tough task this weekend. The loss of key midfielder Paal Christian Alsaker also weaken their chances, even if his replacement Trond Viggo Thoresen has loads of experience at this level. They also get back O`Neill Thompson and Andreas Granerud from injuries, both expected on the bench today. No big issues otherwise, and as I say, the main thing for coach Halvorsen is to tie the knot and see players connecting on a far better level than earlier. They have the quality to do so indeed. A battle between two hard-fighting teams with low morale, and both seeking to get their flow back together after some poor performances. For me its only a question before Notodden kicks up and hit their form fully. They have underperformed so far this season, and even without Alsaker and long-termer Taylor out they have a pwerful outfit to bring along with them. Kongsvinger is an offensive side that creates lots of chances in every game they are involved with. The ineffectivity combined with the loss of centre-half Strømnæs to injury have been reasons that could explain their last two losses. Today, I really could see an open game, where both teams will try to create goals, and wanting the win. Many would believe that Notodden would take this on in a defensive matter, but when looking at their line-up I do see otherwise. Value on the overs for me on this one. Prediction: Over 3 (Value is 1.97+) 3/10

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Stavanger - Bryne Stavangers rather inexperienced squad has made an impact on the league so far. The newly promoted side has done whats expected of them so far and played offensive and entertaining footy. As many other teams in this division their main force is at their own ground (1-3-0) going without a loss so far. Their artificial pitch is feared and I do see them collecting many more points on Stavanger stadium. Even so, led by player coach Cato Hansen, the team has financial trouble to take care of. After some recent turmoil, there is no new investors ready and the club need to get bankloans to keep staying alive. No new players can be added and if some more injuries appear the team will struggle to keep up the level in the division. They barely do so now, and that is admirable indeed, but they are extremely vulnerable if more issues begin to rise. On sunday they have some missings, but are coping with it as best they can and will be able to field a decent side. Bryne publicly announced their new coach just before the last match versus Moss. Mons Ivar Mjelde took over, and this one will be his first for his new club. His reputation in Norway is pretty good after he led Brann to win the league two seasons ago. When he wasn`t able to follow up the great performance last season, he resigned under heavy pressure. If he is going to get a damaged team up and running would be a question indeed. They have struggled bigtime so far, going 1-4-4 in total. When visiting 0-0-4 is the stat. All inclines that he has a major task in front of him. In their last one they managed a draw (3-3 versus Moss) with a really depleted defensive side. Squad-wise they had some major problems last weekend with numbers of players out. On sunday, it has not got much better, four defensive regulars are out and when both Kai Ove Stokkeland and Marius Helle are reported only 50/50 ready, more issues has arrived. Still, they are somwhat boosted by Tommy Eide Møsters return. If they are out, it will be a big blow for new coach Mjelde to set a stand in his first game for the struggling side. If it havent been for the status in Brynes outfit I would not have doubted that they would take this home. The influence from Mjelde has already shown promising boosts among his players. However, if Stokkeland and Helle are reported ready, which I don`t know yet, I really could see a fun and entertaining match be the fact. Stavanger have not lost at home, and their squad tend to be involved in matches with many goals. A small one on the overs for me on this one will be my prediction, especially when knowing that Bryne has really opened up their play of late. Prediction: Over 3 (Value is 2.00+) 3/10

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. LøvHam - Mjøndalen The homeside has shown som great fighting spirit the last months. The fact that they have gone 5-0-1 in the period mentioned is clearly a sign of strength. Then it also need to be said that they won a tough midweek cup-game also. Rated as team that will fight in the middle in the end has yet again proven that they are no pushovers in this league. Especially at home they should be feared, having 3-0-1 as a stat. When looking at their form it is quite clear that coach Trond Amundsen has done great things with the team and they work very well together. They also have had the luxury of staying out of injury troubles which has effected many other teams so far this season. Key midfielder Erlend Storesund is also reported back after injury to this one, which may boost an already well-functioning part of the team. Mjøndalen has also surprised some experts so far this season. With a notion of keeping their own ground as the major factor for collecting points, they have also giving teams hard battles when visiting, still they seem to fall through when playing away, going 0-2-3 so far. However, it is needed to be said that they had a very strong performance in their latest one beating strong HamKam 3-2. At Varden Amfi Mjøndalen is expected to fight very hard versus a LøvHam in great shape and their players need to mobilize heavily if points were to be taken. Two teams in pretty good shape meets up today. The homeside has, as mentioned, been in great shape of late. However in my opinion they can`t keep it up in the same matter the coming weeks. The reason is that they simply do not have a good enough squad to do so. The visitors is in a very positive direction these days also, notching points where none have believed it up front. All facts heading for a home win, but I am not that sure. Value on the visitors as I see it, but it will be with small stakes as the line is set. Prediction: Mjøndalen +0.5 (Value is 2.05+) 2/10

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Sogndal - Nybergsund On thursday, Sogndal played their 2rd round cupmatch versus a depleted 2nd league Ã…sane. A match they controlled in the first half creating many chances and being 2-0 up. Still, they let go of the initiative and needed luck to save the win, ended 2-1. On the field they used many regulars filled up with bench players that have all been knocking on the door wanting to get into regular starting business. As the result inclines they did not manage the task at hand, and some players will come into this one rather tired after an unnecessary hard-fought match. Form-wise in the league things have looked promising so far. 4-1-0 in total the last five, they just passed Kongsvinger and are looking down on every other team being the top dog in Adecco at the moment. At home they have been solid, going 4-1-0 and many teams should be wary when visiting Fosshaugane. However, they have not shown the superiority as a leader should, and has struggled to win comfortably in their recent matches. The cup-match is already been mentioned, and in their two last ones they have had some luck at their end. The victory against Kongsvinger was a strong one indeed, but a saved penalty and good defending saved the day. Versus Tromsdalen in their last one, they played against a very weakened side that could have lost with clear numbers to any team in the division when looking at the state thay have been in. Missings on sunday will for sure be full-back Per Egil Flo as he is playing for the u-21 national team. Otherwise, there is doubts concerning key centre-back Morten Christensen while winger Jon Midtun Lie is out with a pulled hamstring. Nybergsund is a team that can be like heaven or hell these days. 5-1-3 in total is not bad, but going from a home loss (1-2) versus Alta to beating Kongsvinger (3-0) surely states that they struggle with inconsistency. Their coach Ola Brenden stated last week that they have no ambitions to promote this season, rather to establish themself at this level and take one game at the time. That being said, they have a clear trend so far, and that is beating the supposed top teams. The loss of captain and playmaker Mirza Durakovic to injury has also weakened the team in big manners. still with him being out they still produce and getting big wins. In other words, much can happen when Nybergsund enters the pitch this weekend, even if they have lost key players Ingebregtsen and Bjarnasson to injuries. I do see a close battle today. There is major worries about key centre-half Morten Christensen for the homeside. I can`t confirm it in any way, but if he plays, he will not be at 100%. Which again means that coach Emberland need to rotate even more in his already depleted defense. The visitors can be heaven oer hell, but the tendency is clear an that is to do good versus the best teams. And taking in consideration that the homeside played on thursday, fielding their best eleven avaliable, I do see the visitors getting something out of this one. Predicition: Nybergsund +0.75 (Value is 1.95+) 3/10

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June.

My bookies are dropping koef on Mose dunno why. Kimer you think X2 in this game is worth trying ?
It might, but it depends on value imo. Moss have a decent starting eleven in spite of all happenings around the club. Above 1.95 I would consider it, but Skeid has been in terrible form of late, even if there has been some improvements of late. They could not get a better chance getting some much needed points today...

Sport Football (Norway)
Event Kongsvinger-Notodden
Selection Kongsvinger
Strength 10/10
Date 07/06/2009
Bookmaker/Price >Bet365 @ 1.70 (Back)
Reasoning Kongsvinger lost the last two games in championship 0:2 home with Sogndal and 0:3 away with NIL. In travel, the guests play modest, they lost 0:1 to tromsdalen and with honefoss, 1:3.I think that Kongsvinger can recover today with a victory, which is likely to produce, because the opponent seems to be quite modest.

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. Well to give a feedback about the game I mentioned above ... Those who saw the game might agree with me on 3 points: - The second yellow card on Skeid's defender it can only be considered as a joke. - There was no offside in the last min of the game on Obiodun. - And there was a penalty on the same player that was not given again in the end of the game. ... the rest as they say is history :dude

Re: Norway, Adeccoleague, 7-9th of June. HamKam - Haugesund Much can be said about the home teams problems these days. Severe financial issues because of low attendance, failure in getting money from sponsors and of course a very poor start of the season compared to the expectations. They have a near complete squad for this one, as they have had many matches before, but they simply cannot perform as expected these days. Poor defensive play and a severe lack of effectivness up front are the main factors. It all comes down to one thing, low self-esteem and absolutely no belief in themself. On top of that, their fans has publicly stated that coach Erlandsens time in the club should be coming to a close very soon. The pressure on all members of this team is immense at the moment and they desperately need a win today, and also by big margins, just to prove that they could be a team that have some possibillity reaching the promotion in the end. It is announces that they will rearrange their starting line-up today, letting those players that actually have found some form be starting this one. The vistors has had their share of problems the recent weeks. Last weeks match versus Hønefoss had to be postponed because of the major injury crisis in the squad. They just didn`t have enough players ready to play. The situation has gotten better since then and some players have returned and are ready for action. Niklas Sandberg, Eirik Mæland, Thomas Sørum and Vegard Skjerve are all ready again, while long-termers Trygve Nygaard and Sten Ove Eike are fit enough to be placed at the bench. Supposed to be a team fighting for promotion, they have done fairly well in spite of their problems. Still, 0-1-3 when visiting inclines that most of their points is taken at their own ground. When playing away, they have struggled against decent teams, which all have been rated as close matches. This one is an interesting match-up in my opinion. Some factors must be taken in consideration. The internal status in the homeside, poor form etc. And for the visitors, the lack of fielding the same eleven each game, and their away form. As the line is set I am quite uncertain if HamKam deserves the line which is set (-1). It all depends if the regrouping from Erlandsen hits home, and if the problem in getting goals resolves itself, which is only a question about time imo. Even so I will give a small shout on Haugesund. They are a decent squad which have every chance of getting something out of this one. Low stakes is recommended, too many dangers for a big one as I see it. Haugesund, +1, 1.96 @sbobet 2/10
