4.20 Yarmouth Hobson won over course and distance at the back end of last month and although 7 lb higher, has performed credibly since off this sort of mark. Following his win here he ran under a penalty at Yarmouth, but failed to see out a mile the day, however, dropped back down to seven furlongs last time out he came close in an apprentices handicap at Salisbury off his current mark of 64, beaten by just a head.
