4.25 Brighton Astrobrava was well beaten in three maidens last term but was strongly supported ahead of her handicap debut at Beverley last time out. The Falbrav filly was running off a mark of just 57 and found herself short of room before she was eased down close to the finish, and she is arguable better than her five length margin of defeat. Loulou wasn't that far infront that day, and with the booking of Jamie Spencer compressing the price on that rival this afternoon, I'll take the Tompkins filly the reverse form as this drop back in trip and a slightly eased mark give her every chance if getting a clearer run. 5/1 Bet 365, 0.5 pt EW (1/5 odds, 3 places)

Both those ahead had previous experience, and the selection can put his experience to use in this race over 1f further, which will suit on breeding. Clearly a leading chance, and I think it will go off even shorter than the 1/2 taken. 2.40 Brighton - FANTASTIC DUBAI - Win @ 2.72 and Place @ 1.48 Interesting stepped back in trip having just clung on over 7f then just run out of it over 7f, this well bred colt appears as if he'll better for the sprint trip. Still on a very exploitable mark, and disappointing if he can't take advantage of that.
