Leciester 3.00 Clerks choice bounced back with a good 3rd last time out at 50/1 after a winter break raised 2lb for that effort and same jockey booked again today. Does seem to like a bit of a cut in the ground which is my only slight worry 0.5pt e/w clerks choice

Re: Leciester 26th may 3.00 Leicester Several big name trainers send runners out in this three year old handicap, and that has served to drive up the price of Miss Cristophene who looks attractively priced in double figures. The filly could not have been any more impressive when scoring on her handicap debut over a mile last time out. She stayed on strongly and won doing cartwheels, and the step up in trip here looks to be just what is needed to continue the improvement. She returns from a slight break, hence the modest stake, but she has to be of interest after just a 7 lb rise. 10/1 Bet 365, 0.25 pt 4.30 Leicester Drifting Gold is in terrific nick at present and can be considered unlucky to bump into a superbly handicapped Ziggy Lee last time out. When Adam Kirby sent the filly to the front she looked to hold strong claims of winning, until William Carson pressed the button on her rival and wrapped up the victory. Ziggy Lee had lost his previous race in the stewards room and was clearly ahead of the handicapper, but compensation awaits here for Clive Cox's filly, who is only 4 lbs higher than her last win.
