Leciester 3.00 Clerks choice bounced back with a good 3rd last time out at 50/1 after a winter break raised 2lb for that effort and same jockey booked again today. Does seem to like a bit of a cut in the ground which is my only slight worry 0.5pt e/w clerks choice

Re: Best bet of the day 26th May Cane Cat 2.20 Chepstow (EW) Looked well in the paddock and Doncaster on its debut and ran well enough without being close and looked like it would come on for that run. Form worked out well from that race with several of its rivals winning since. Disappointed next time out and did not seem to have progressed when weakening 1f out. Kept a keen eye on it to see when it would run again and not deserting it now. Has had 2 races on gd-fm, should be ok on good ground and backing it through both hope and expectation.
