Brighton 22/5/09

Recommended Posts

2.30 Brighton Ziggy Lee saw his victory taken away from him at Newmarket last time out after he drifted across course and allegedly interfered with the staying on second. However, every cloud has a silver lining and in this case, Stuart Williams' gelding runs off a mark off which he is already proven, and a case can be made for him being ahead of the handicapper on that basis. He runs over the same trip here, on the same ground, and should give a good account providing jockey Carson times his run correctly once more. 15/8 Hills, 1.75 pt win

Re: Brighton 22/5/09 DIGITAL 2.30 Brighton. 0.5 points each way. Drops to a mark of 70 for this race, and although not as good as he once was, he'll only need to produce a little like his old form and he'll go very close today. Not te easiest track to come from behind on, so he'll need the gaps as the speed down the hill and then climb for home, but the odds make the bet and he'll be finishing quite well whatever happens.
