chris34 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 2.00 Jesse james looks one to beat here having come close 2nd twice now with a couple of horses behind going on to win including Everaard and Libel Law 1pt win jesse james 2.30 Star rover looks impossible to beat having met just Desert Auction before and beat him by 6l but is 9lb worse off whether thats enough to reverse that I doubt it personally. 3pt win star rover 3.00 The tatling looks an interesting one here having produced a nice effort on good to firm ground at bath over todays trip but is dropped back to last winning mark today and with J Dean riding again claiming 5lb looks a good shout 1pt win the tatling Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fintron Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 Re: Goodwood 7th May 3.00 Goodwood Espy was most progressive last season and although he is running out of chances after two no shows in two outings this year, he threw away his race at Bath in the stalls on his reappearance and was poorly drawn and raced in the rear last time out at Kempton. His two wins last year came when he raced prominently and it is also worth noting that Will Buick was doing the steering for both of those victories.
