Trainer Gordon Elliott is in a rich vein of form, saddling two winners and a second at this track today, and boasts an impressive strike rate of 21-73 during the current season. This horse was formerly a flat horse for Marcus Tregoning, once rated 80, although admittedly he only ever ran to marks of around 73 ish in that sphere. He has shown bits of promise in non-handicaps to suggest he may improve for the switch to handicapping though, and was only narrowly beaten at Downpatrick in March when headed inside the last 100 yards in a maiden hurdle. That was one of the few occassions he has tackled quickish ground and I think he will appreciate tomorrows good ground more than the slower ground he has often been encountering of late. 1 pt win
