The fight is taking part at Hatton's natural weight at Light-Welter, which is a big advantage for him. Pacman had been fighting at Super-Featherweight for a few years, before moving up to Lightweight to beat David Diaz and then up to Welterweight to beat Oscar De La Hoya. Although Pacquiao has fought at a heavier weight than at what he will face Hatton at, I'm not sure how much can be taken from the fight with De La Hoya, who looked totally shot. I don't think that Pacquiao will have the strength to hurt Hatton with a single shot, but with his speed, he does of course pose a threat in the later rounds if he can inflict some accumulative damage. It's therefore probably better to go with the Method of Victory market, rather than an outright win. Pacquaio is currently 3.65 at Betfair to win by decision and 2.54 to win by stoppage. I think if Pacman does win it'll be on points. It's a tough one to predict, with a lot of ifs and buts. I hope that Hatton is just too strong for him. Hatton's 5.1 for a points win, which isn't a bad bet.
