Re: Newcastle 4/4/09 2.05 Capucci is a really interesting horse if he retains his ability. He makes his debut for John Quinn after being bought out of the Gosden yard for £24k just before Christmas. He had some decent bits of maiden form - not far behind Military Power (handicap winner off 90) at Goodwood and then a fifth in another big field, this time at Newbury, when infront of Amber Queen (rated that last season, won a handicap off 80) and behind Round the Cape (winner NTO) and Aqlaam, a Group 3 winner at Ascot next time out. Won on his handicap debut at Newbury off 75 but then went off the boil for two runs before ending the season much better when 3rd to the Fifth Member (ran well at Donc last weekend) at Goodwood off 80. He runs off 80 again here, and although no cert, is worth chancing at 8/1 as undoubtedly possesses ability. 8/1 bet 365
