GaF Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 The newly announced Northern Ireland Poker Tour will feature a series of 4 one day tournaments culminating in a 2 day grand final in Belfast on the weekend of 13th and 14th June 2009. The 4 preliminaries will be £100+£20 No Limit Hold ‘Em freezeouts with a 10,000 chip starting stack and a 30 minute clock. The exact locations haven’t been finalised yet but events are scheduled for Omagh on Sunday 10th May, Portadown Sunday 17th May, Coleraine Sunday 24th May and Derry Sunday 1st June. The 2 day Belfast grand final will be a £300+£40 buy in event. All players must register and pay their entry in advance and in full at www.pokerireland.ie. Under Northern Ireland law no cash can be accepted on the day of the event. Organisers are hoping for a prize pool of around £20,000 in each of the preliminary tournaments and £100,000 for the 2 day grand final.
