Re: Darts: Premier League Week 8 3 bets for me this week. No doubt I'll get another sarcastic quip from Woody but there we go. 3pts M.King (-2.5 legs) to beat W.Mardle 11/10 Blue Square I can't say I'm a fan of this handicap as it means King has to break Mardle's throw twice instead of just the once but I still think he'll cover it. King beat Mardle 8-1 on the opening night of the season and I can't believe Mardle will suddenly win 5 more legs. King has been beaten twice now and hasn't got a win in his last 3 but as much as I hate to say it cos I can't stand the bloke, I think he'll bounce back to winning ways here. Mardle is just too inconsistent and if Merv's back on song he'll win this no worse than 8-5. 4pts T.Jenkins vs J.Klaasen - Over 5.5 180's 8/11 Blue Square These two are good 180 scorers and this line just looks way too low to me. In their 1st meeting on the opening night of the season they hit 9 180's between them. In fact, Jenkins hit enough that night to cover this total! Klaasen is no mug around the 60 though. I expect this one to be pretty close so we should have lots of time to get the 180's. Their styles suit each other for a high scoring match so I think we'll get the required 6 maximums here. 1pt R.Barneveld to beat P.Taylor 4/1 Stan James This might look like a silly bet after the Power destroyed Barney on the opening night but a couple of times since then there's been signs of a chink in the great one's armour. Barney in recent weeks has made tricky games look remarkably easy and although he's to hit the heights he can, he's looked untroubled. For some reason the relaxed Barney never seems to go onto stage against Taylor but it's only a matter of time before he does. When he does he'll give Taylor a game as we've seen him do in the UK Open among other places. This is a relatively short sprint and if Barney can ping the lids he still has the quality to edge the great one out. With his recent form the way it is I'll try Barney at 4/1.
