6.50 Kempton Towy Valley is well drawn in stall 7 and won a maiden well last time out. Prior to that she finished 4th to the hugely progressive Five Star Junior, but seemed to benefit from the drop back in trip last time. She beat War and Peace last time out and that rival has been running to marks around 70 in handicap IMO, and Towy Valley begins handicapping on 70 here which I think is fair. 6/1 Paddy's. 8.20 Kempton The Alan King runner Emerald Wilderness is the 2/1 fav here and finished a head behind Robby Bobby a few weeks ago and and concedes 3 lbs less here. Greylami will get this trip and although returning from a 124-day break, has gone well fresh before. He was a ready winner at Goodwood in September but failed to follow up next time out when finishing behind John Terry at Newmarket. He is proven on polytrack though and it wouldn't be too great a surprise to see him go in. The other one that I like at a price though is Halla San. His second to Arc Bleu in the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle reads as a top piece of form and although he has been hurdling for Richard Fahey in recent months he has won over this sort of trip a couple of years ago at Hayd, Bev and Good. 22/1 VC bet.
