Naive of me i know' date=' but i have never used PT, in order for me to understand these threads i need to know what all the abbreviations mean at the top of the charts, are they in a thread somewhere?[/quote'] The important ones here are VP$IP - % of hands where you voluntarily put money in pot - so basically anytime you put money into the pot which isn't your blinds. Obviously this is an indicator of tight/loose play. PFR - % of hands where you raise pre flop, so an indicator of pre flop aggression.

Thanks Dave, i will be able to have some understanding now :),I still find it hard to see how this is a help as each session has many different factors, but i will have a good read through these threads to see if i can understand why you use PT.

At lower levels I think NLHE is more of a "solveable" game (because people don't adapt), in the same way that STTs are, so PT can help you analyze your game, and work out better ways of extracting money from the fish quicker.
