Noland out for the season.

Recommended Posts

NOLAND, 4-1 joint-favourite for the Ryanair Chase with Paddy Power, is out for the season according to trainer Paul Nicholls. Speaking in his exclusive column in Saturday's Racing Post newspaper, the champion trainer reveals that the seven-year-old pulled up sore after working on Thurday. It was discovered the 2006 Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner had suffered a recurrence of an old leg injury. Nicholls is set to tell readers that if Noland does return next term, it is unlikely to be until the latter end of the season. Noland was last seen in action at Punchestown in December, when he won the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase.
