7.20 Kempton Downhill Skier remains unpenalised following his recent win in an apprentices race and thus could have a chance off 60 here. He's been in decent form for his new trainer and although foiled in his bid for the hat-trick on Sunday, did run better than his finishing position suggested as he came wide turning for home and wasn't a million miles off a place. 8.20 Kempton Resplendent Ace enjoys racing at Kempton and I seem to remember him making a mockery of his early morning price of 14/1 back in July when he was backed off the boards into 4's come the evening. He's a course and distance winner and dangerously handicapped (5 lb lower than last winning mark) if on song. Has a bit to prove on recent form but a speculative punt in the hope of a form revival at a track where all his four wins have come. 8.50 Kempton Bushveld came close to winning on his handicap debut last time out but was collared late on by Barwell Bridge. Runs off 80 again and, the drop back in trip seems sensible and he looks to have races in him. The Johnston yard are in reasonable form with 3 from 15 in the past fortnight including a winner today. 9.20 Kempton Cheap Thrills is one of the least exposed runners in the field and looks to have a chance off 70. The form of her maiden 3rd to Olynard (in which she was clear of the remainder) reads well as the 4th won next time out off 69 and the 6th has won off 65 to suggest she has a chance off her current mark. She was returning from a break when last seen and put in a decent effort to land a Lingfield maiden and with the benefit of that run and a realistic mark off which to start handicapping she could feasibly notch up a double here.

Re: Kempton (eve) 28/1/08 19:50 - Sounds of Jupiter/Dream In Blue Sounds of Jupiter should take the beating in this maiden, his 3rd at Great Leighs is alright form behind the top two, Bit worrying that the 4th in that race finished last next time out though. Gonna take a chance on the Osborne newcomer aswell, stable is coming into a bit of form in recent weeks and there is a little bit of support for this horse today. 11/4 7/1 Betfred
