12.40 Zaffeu - loves the track with three wins here and rarely runs a bad race. He was well beaten by Hi Dancer last time but himself finished miles clear of the third. Only a few lbs above his last winning mark and jockey rode him okay last time. Sabancaya will he happier dropped back to this trip after failing to justify market support last time over two miles. I still think there is more to come from her given the form of her 4th to Cosmea at Windsor. 2.10 Obe Royal was subject of strong support last time out from David Evans' yard and with the consistent Paul Doe again booked, he could go well. He's won off 7 lb higher in a higher grade in the past and although he has a poor win rate and his last run came in a seller, further market support would be noteworthy. 3.10 Efisio Princess was an impressive course and distance winner three runs ago and was far from disgraced next time out here when 3rd. Last time out at Kempton she trailed home last but a poor draw hindered her chances that day and she should go well again on this surface. When she won here she had the likes of Cool Sands, Whitbarrow and Kensington behind, and I make all of them stronger rivals than anything in the field here. 4.10 My Mentor is proven on the surface and only 5 lbs higher than when winning here in July. The blinkers are left off here but the trainer has a brilliant strike rate here and his horse is proven returning from a break previously. Although his last win came over 7f, he's by 2000 Guineas winner Golan and gets this trip no probs.
