Wolverhampton 2:20: Kaystar Ridge - I think there is more to come from this horse and should do better this time from lower draw. Did beat favourite Sarah's Art back in November too. Okay, so the favourite has improved massively since then, but naturally Kaystar Ridge is weighted even better today, so could run a big race...hopefully. 2:50: Aahaygirl - A race I wouldn't touch with a barge pole in any other situation. Even the favourite has been off the track for a while and has never raced on any AW surface before. However, there are very few alternatives. 3:20: Bridgewater Boys - Very tough to oppose after a good run last time and comfortably holding the second favourite back in December. 3:50: Ninth House - Bit of a C&D specialist who has won better races than this off higher marks. 4:20: Hawkspring - Should do a lot better stepping back in trip and has shown a previous liking for the surface. 4:50: Castaneous - A truly dismal maiden contest and Castaneous has to be fancied after showing a bit of spirit last time out. The only other one that leaps out at me is General Tufto, as he wasn't far behind Jordi Roper last time out, but a big step up in trip surely means he is very vulnerable.
