Inglis Drever

Hope they are doing the right thing in keeping him in training as for me there would be nothing worse than watching him being pulled up in the World Hurdle as he isn't fit/strong enough. Should have retired him whilst being remembered as the great champion he truly is. That being said, if he does get back to a decent level of fitness, then the 3m hurdling scene doesnt really hold any great fears at the moment (perhaps Punchestowns aside), and he would be rightly fancied to have a good crack. Its a tough one....but what are your opinions on him staying in training??

Re: Inglis Drever He still will be remembered as a great great horse. Puncehstowns and Kasbah Bliss are classy horses though. Not sure he can come back from a serious injury and beat them. Kasbah Bliss stormed well clear with ID over the hill and is the potential winner this term. Punchestowns is rated 171 only 1 lower than Inglis, so they really need him spot on to have a chance. I think the younger generation will be too good for him. Retire him and let him enjoy his morning walks :ok
