CHIMBONDA 1.15 Southwell. Not rock solid, but certainly has the form and ability to win this race. The trip and surface are of no concerns and jockey knows the time of day. The price is of most importance with a horse like this, and with the price being around 7/1 it appears well worth a chance with the form and ability to go very well. Let's just hope he's on his game. 1 point win.

Re: Southwell ~ Sat 27th December. Just lost a big post with my bets for the 3 handicaps, using old methods picking 3 against the field (mix of fancies and my own ratings). So, in brief, my 3 in the next are: 1.50 Captain Macarry (4pts @ 3/1 SportingBet) Won on AW debut quite easily, sharp rise in weights but still improving. Silver Hotspur (4pts @ 3/1 SportingBet) Course specialist in decent form recently. Return to fav track should see this horse go very close. Ours (2pts @ 8/1 SportingBet) Consistent type, won 2 starts ago off 5lb lower but creditable 3rd lto off this mark. Excellent jockey booking. 6 x 0.5pt F/C combos.
