Best bet of the day - Boxing Day

2.40 Kempton Snoopy Loopy isn't the classiest horse in the race but he is a battler and should give his all once again. His win in the Betfair chase at Haydock proves he stays three miles and he's fine with cut in the ground. Kauto Star is better than what he showed at Haydock that day and could quite easily reverse the form in a race he's won the past two years, but I'm hopeful Snoopy can continue his fantastic season and sneak a place. EW.

Re: Best bet of the day - Boxing Day Going to get involved... Hope that is OK? Christmas Hurdle - Kempton Selection - Snap Tie E/W Punjabi is clearly going to go off favourite in this high class, 8 runner affair. As there are 8 runners, with a short odds fave I believe there is definate value to be had in backing Snap Tie E/W. Although Punjabi was running at a course that didnt suit him LTO (Wetherby), he made pretty hard work of beating Sublimity - who IMO just is not a classy enough hurdler anymore to be challenging for the top prizes. Snap Tie holds good form behind Binocular and Captain Cee Bee, and has readily disposed of Katchit already this season. At around about 6/1, he must be in with a fighting chance of overturning Punjabi...
