what a line up Kauto Star (2) Kicking king (2) Edredon Bleu Best mate Florida Pearl First Gold See more business (2) Teeton Mill One Man (2) Algan Barton Bank The Fellow (2) Desert orchid (3) It really is a top race but looking at those which horse would win off its best racing age. my top 4 would be Kauto Star, Kicking King, One Man & Dessie. Best Mate only won it once instead taking in the irish race over xmas as prep for the gold cup. Doumen had his best horses over for this & The Fellow, Algan & first Gold all did him proud. Kauto Star will go down as one of the greats if it wins this race for the 3rd time & i know connections made this their no.1 target this season, so i am not unduly worried by its recent fall at Haydock.
